Meet the Trainer

If you ever needed an example for the word "Dog Person" then your search is over. Emily has loved dogs ever since she [or her family] could remember. Her passion for dogs started with her family's Dalmatian, Pepper, from the time she could walk. After Pepper, a 7 year old Emily was given a dachshund she named Spotty, which spurned her want to learn about dog training. She dreamed of doing agility with her tiny dachshund. Though not to be an agility dog, Spotty was the most well-trained dachshund in Emily's household.
Following the unexpected loss of Spotty in 2012 Emily began volunteer work at local animal shelters during High School and into College. As soon as Emily was out of college, she began expanding her knowledge on dog behavior and training. She started her career in the Pet Care Industry, working with dogs and animals professionally for 5 years. Emily's journey took her through Retail, Grooming, Pet Sitting, and Dog Daycare Management. All the while volunteering and fostering for a cat only rescue local to New Orleans. After moving to Zachary, Louisiana, she went on to start her Professional Dog Training journey in 2023 with her Dalmatian, Orion. He has opened up her world to the joy of dog sports and she will be pursuing agility with him.
When Emily isn't training client dogs, she's off training her own dogs and going on adventures with them and her Husband. Her dogs are part of her every day life and if they can go with her, they will be there!
Emily has seen first hand how dog training has been handled in Louisiana over the years, and she wants to continue to bring a positive energy back into training your dog.
